Nice C Double Camping Chair Oversized Camping Loveseat

Brand: Nice C

Best for

Couples who want to sit together at the campfire in a single seating unit, where Nice C double chair provides a shared seat with a center armrest divider and two cup holders so each person has their own drink holder, and the single carry bag simplifies transport compared to carrying two individual camping chairs.

Backpacking transport is needed. Camping loveseats are significantly heavier and bulkier than individual camping chairs. A double camping chair that weighs 12 to 15 pounds and folds to a large carry size is not practical for hiking or backpacking. For seated outdoor use where each person carries their own gear on trail, two individual lightweight chairs are more practical.

Questions people ask

How wide is a camping loveseat?

Most camping loveseats are 44 to 52 inches wide at the full seat width to accommodate two adults side by side. Individual camping chairs are typically 20 to 24 inches wide at the seat, so a camping loveseat is roughly twice the seat width of a single chair. The carry bag for a camping loveseat is accordingly wider, typically 24 to 30 inches in length in the folded carry position, which requires a wider vehicle trunk space than individual folding camping chairs. For buyers who frequently carry gear in a compact vehicle or need to fit the loveseat in a tight storage closet, measuring the available carry space before purchasing a specific loveseat model is worthwhile.

Can camping loveseats get wet?

Camping loveseats use similar outdoor fabric to standard camping chairs, typically 600-denier polyester that resists light rain and drizzle but is not waterproof in sustained rain. The fabric wicks away surface water and dries faster than canvas materials, but sitting on a wet loveseat during or after rain leaves moisture in the fabric seat that transfers to clothing. Most camping loveseat fabrics resist mildew for a season of regular outdoor use if the chair is left in a location with good airflow to dry between uses. Storing a wet camping loveseat in a closed carry bag for extended periods can cause mildew on the seat fabric; air dry the chair before storage.

How much weight can a camping loveseat hold?

Camping loveseats typically support 400 to 600 pounds total across the two-person seat, which accommodates two adults up to 200 to 300 pounds each. The weight rating on a camping loveseat applies to the combined load across the full seat, not per-person capacity. Check the manufacturer's weight specification for combined capacity rather than assuming it is two times a standard single-chair rating. Camping loveseats with steel frames at the outer structure handle the combined load of two adults more consistently than aluminum frames at the same price range, though aluminum remains acceptable for most two-person camping loveseat use.
